DIALOG
Dialog was a live, public affairs television series produced by KHET (now PBS Hawaiʻi) that originally launched in the early 1970s and aired into the 1990s. The show served as a community-focused panel program where local experts, policymakers, and public figures discussed relevant community issues. It was notable for being one of the only live, call-in programs at the time, allowing residents across the Hawaiian islands to directly phone in and ask questions to the panelists.
Hosted by Leslie Wilcox and occasional guest moderators, the program was also notable for being among the first to hold meaningful discussions on issues of importance to the LGBTQ+ community.
